My name is Nelly, I live in rural Gloucestershire with my husband, my son and 12 pet rats, and I like to talk about science. I did my PhD research on a fungal disease that infects wheat crops, so most of all I like to talk about diseases, antimicrobials and food security. Sometimes I talk about other things too, like science communication, policy, rats and most recently babies and breastfeeding.
